Linda Jane Harper, age 60 of Birmingham passed away on Friday, December 26, 2014. She was a loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Petty. Linda is survived by her loving family, her husband of seventeen years, Larry Harper; her daughter, Sonya Darby; a son, Bill Darby (Jennifer Essig); her golden child; Lisa Stewert (Ethan); her wonderful grandchildren, Brandon Ellison, Michael Ellison, Jonathan Willis, Blake Darby, Shelby Darby, Parker Darby, Alexis Hinson, Eric Hinson, Willie Chandler, Lakameya Chandler; her dad, Kenneth Petty (Shirley); a sister, Sandra Riley; and a brother, Ricky Petty.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 30th at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel from 6 until 8 PM. Chapel services will be held on Wednesday beginning at 12 Noon and followed by burial in Pawnee Cemetery.
