

Lou or as the Grandkids and Great Grandkids knew her Lou Lou, was born in Raleigh, NC, to Milo and Augusta Pinnix.
Lou is predeceased by her parents, her loving husband of 60 years, Harry L. Parker and her daughter, Barbara P. Townes. She is also predeceased by her sisters, Almedia Ireland, Muriel Chambers(Bill), and brother, Dorman Pinnix(Leamer).
Lou is survived by her sister, Etta Arnold (Johnny), daughter, Sandy Deason (Eddie), her son-in-law, Robert Townes, grandchildren, Carrie Cotney (Jeff), Robby Townes (Lauren), Dee Dee Kilby (Shane), David Deason (Kati), and great grandchildren, Parker Ann Cotney, Quint Townes, Ellie Townes, Madison Kilby, Kori Kilby and Harlan Deason. She is also survived by her sister-in-law and traveling buddy, Dot Canant. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Lou was Co-owner of Parker & Townes for 60 years. She loved sewing, crocheting, knitting, quilting, cooking, traveling and Auburn football. She was a life long member of Gardendale Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church now Hope Church. Her greatest love, however, was her family. She loved the grandchildren and great grandchildren more than anything. She had a fabulous sense of humor and will be greatly missed. War Eagle, Lou Lou!

Visitation will be at Ridout’s Gardendale’s Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071, Friday, October 7, 2022, 12:00 -1:00 p.m. Graveside service at 1:00 p.m. at Oakwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Cornerstone Ranch, P. O. Box 152, Gardendale, AL 35071.
