Arnold, Margaret age 83 of Smokerise, Al passed away on January 8, 2015 after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. Margaret was a longtime member of Smokerise Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie Lee and Ruby Cochran; her brothers, Carl E. Cochran and Phillip Cochran; and her loving husband of 48 years, William M. Arnold, Jr. Survivors include her son, Lynn M. Arnold (Carol); three granddaughters, Rainbow Arnold, Summer (Brett) Neely and Zoe Arnold; two brothers, John Ferris Cochran (Kathy), Rodney Cochran (vicki); sister, Georgia Johnson (Cecil); three sister in laws; and several nieces and nephews and many loving friends. Funeral services will be held at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel on Saturday January 10, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel with entombment to follow at Oakwood Mausoleum. A visitation will be held from 12:30 P.M. until service time prior to the service on Saturday. Bro. Ron Paschal and Bro. Dennis Bates Officiating.
