Passed away on Friday, February 24, 2012 at the age of 88. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Russell; 3 grandchildren: Carol Russell Little (Ray), Karen Russell Appling (Billy), and William Russell; 2 great grandchildren: Taylor Appling and Carlee Appling; her brother, Marlyn Holcombe (Joyce); and her sister, Faye Gregg. Visitation will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Sunday, February 26, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, with graveside services at Oakwood Memorial Gardens on Monday, February 27, 2012 beginning at 11:00 am.
