Mark Smith

Mark Smith, age 46 went to be with his heavenly Lord and Father on Saturday, September 30th, 2017. He was a wonderful father, brother, and son who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. Mark truly loved his Lord and family. He attended Midfield High School and was in the Tree service for more than 30 years. He was an avid Alabama football fan. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth O. Smith, Sr. Mark is survived by his wife, Jerry Smith; mother, Patricia Smith; his daughters, Randi Smith, Shelby Smith, McKenzie Smith, and Kelsea Smith, brothers, Kenneth Smith, Jr. (Cindy) and Danny Smith (Kristi); sisters, Patricia Julaka (Tock Julaka) and Karen Sawyer (Billy); his granddaughter, Harley Smith; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and his special friend, Robert Reed who was always there for him.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 5th at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel beginning at 11 am and followed by chapel services at 1 pm. Interment will be in Providence Cemetery in Hayden, AL.
