Marvin "Sam" Jimmerson, age 81, of Gardendale, AL, died on November 1, 2020. He was born January 16, 1939 in Oneonta, AL. He lived in Hueytown, Al and attended McNeil School and Hueytown High School. He served 5 years in the National Guard and 4 years in the U. S. Air Force, Clovis New Mexico. He married Brenda Earley, March , 1962. In 1978, he moved to Gardendale, AL. He worked at Stribling Caterpillar and Joe Money Machinery.
Mr. Jimmerson is survived by his wife, Brenda Earley Jimmerson; son Jimmy W. Jimmerson; son Steven Craig Jimmerson (Beth); and daughter Lori Gay White; sister Linda Holland and half brother Franklin Holland; grandchild Laura Beth Keedy Biedron (Joseph), grandchild Marcia Lynn Jimmerson Wilson (Keith), grandchild Carolton Wayne Jimmerson and grandchild Sarrah White; great grandchildren, Isabella, Keilan, Kolin and Riley Wilson
Mr. Jimmerson was preceded in death by father Willard E. Jimmerson and mother Christine Robinson Jimmerson; brother Phillip Jimmerson and brother Weldon Jimmerson.
A friends are cordially invited to a visitation held Friday, November 6, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, Alabama 35071. A funeral service will occur Friday, November 6, 2020 at 11:00 AM, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. Rev. Mark Barber and Terry Skinner will officiate. A burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens.
