Mary "Cathy" Catherine Mays

Cathy was known as a devoted daughter, wife, mother, and friend. She loved walking along the beach side scouting out shells and sand dollars, long drives and taking detours to enjoy the moment during traveling, classic muscle cars, creating crafts and artwork, and was also a safe haven for animals which made them love and gravitate towards her. Cathy valued all forms of nature, especially the water. She loved visiting the ocean, lakes, rivers, and even pools, no matter the size. Swimming was a second nature for Cathy.

Mary Catherine Mays is survived by her loving husband, Mark W. Mays; daughter, Olivia Grace Mays; and father, John A. Seabury. She is predeceased by her mother, Mary Jane Seabury; and grandparents, John W. Seabury and Kathryn Roberts Seabury; maternal grandparents, Coleman Wittichen Gilliam and Mary Christine Finley Gilliam.

The Mays family expresses their deepest love for Cathy and just how much her presence in their lives will be missed, but never forgotten.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mary "Cathy" Catherine Mays will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Blount Springs Baptist Church, 8770 US-31, Hayden, AL, 35079.
