Mary "Julie" Julia Monte

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Joseph Monte, Sr; a baby daughter, Debra Anne Monte; parents, William Alonzo Thrasher and Marshall Maybelle Thrasher; brother William Alonzo (Bill) Thrasher, Jr., and sister in law Peggy Thrasher.

She is survived by her two sons, Jerry Joseph Monte, Jr (Patsy), William Charles Monte (Toni), and her daughter, Marshall Rene’ Robinson (Paul); grandchildren, Debra Monte (Stephen), Michael Monte, Jessica Schauer (Jon), Tiffany Monte (Jonathan), Nikole Parks (Colt), Kelsi Robinson, Travis Shelnutt, Kyle Shelnutt (Clarissa); nine great grandchildren, Braiden Denney, Owen Rust, Autumn Schauer, Aulston Schauer, Sophia Engler, Lucy Parks, Reece Monte, Maddie Shelnutt, and Gabe Shelnutt; and a host of beloved nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Julie will be held Thursday, October 1, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A funeral service will follow from 11:00 AM to 12:00 NOON. Burial will be at Castle Heights Cemetery in Morris, AL.
