March 5, 1939 – May 14, 2025
Mary Ann Smith Page, lovingly known as “Ann,” went home to be with the Lord on May 14, 2025, at the age of 86. She passed peacefully at St. Martin’s in the Pines (Compassus) in Birmingham, Alabama, surrounded by love.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Ann lived a life of quiet strength, deep faith, and unwavering love for her family. A lifelong resident of Pinson, Alabama, her warmth and presence were a blessing to all who knew her.
Ann is survived by her beloved husband, Dan Page; sons David Page (Shelia) and Terry Page (Kim); daughters Donita Holloman (Brian) and Deana Rosato (Charles); one brother, Drennon Cotton; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and extended family who were all touched by her generous spirit.
She is reunited in heaven with her beloved sons Daniel Page (Deana) and Dennis Page (Susan), her dear mother Coleen Smith, and her siblings Paulette, Treva, Norma, and Owen Dale.
Ann was a faithful and longtime member of Seven Mile Church in Gardendale, where her love for God and others shined brightly. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—gardening in the sunshine, solving crossword puzzles, and cheering on her favorite game shows. Her gentle laugh, warm hugs, and steadfast faith made her a quiet beacon of comfort and love.
Though our hearts are heavy, we choose to celebrate a life well-lived. Ann’s love, faith, and legacy will continue to grow in every life she touched.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Ann’s caregiver, Kristy Harvard, for her devoted care and compassion. Also Covenant Woods and Compassus.
A celebration of life will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Tuesday, May 20, 2025.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Liberty Minter Cemetery.
