Mary a resident of Gardendale, AL, passed away at the age of 74. Mary was born in Hackleburg, Al, and graduated from Hackleburg High School in 1959. She worked at the Federal Reserve Bank for over 30 years before retiring and was a member of Gardendale First Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Icey Ellen Gunnin and a brother, R.C. Gunnin (Joyce).
Mary is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Choyce Roberts; daughter, Sabrina Roberts Porrill (Damon); brother, James C. Gunnin; grandchildren, Olivia Grace Porrill, Parker Gunnin Porrill, and Sophia Lenore Porrill; other extended family members and a host of friends.
Services will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Saturday, Sept 19th, with a visitation to begin at 10:00 am; funeral service at 12:00 pm followed by her burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
