Mrs. Nadine was known for being a truly remarkable and elegant woman with a heart of gold, who never met a stranger. To know Mrs. Nadine was to be loved by her. Cooking was a passion in her life and a tool that she utilized to show her love for her cherished family and friends. She lived her life as a church-going Christian woman and was a devoted, long time member of Gardendale's First Baptist Church. Nadine prized excellent work ethic, good humor, and common sense. Her dedication to hard work and leadership shined during her 20+ year employment as a manager for several local grocers, finally retiring from Foodland in Gardendale. Nadine was a social butterfly who enjoyed gardening, devoting her time and services to her community, and most of all, being a loving wife and accomplished grandmother.
Family was easily Nadine's biggest passion in life, her children and grandchildren always knew how loved and valued they were. She showed it in all her actions from a simple “I love you” to retiring early just to care for her grandchildren. Her boundless capacity for generosity and acts of service created a sense of safety and warmth for all those who had the honor of knowing her.
The Boatright family deeply expresses the importance of Nadine's presence in their lives, through her essence of unconditional love came strength and the understanding of family values. Their cherished memories with Mrs. Nadine will live in their hearts for eternity.
