

Patsy Lee Weaver Barnhill, lovingly known as "Tunnie" or "Tunna", age 83, peacefully passed away Sunday, February 1, 2026, surrounded by love. She was a cherished sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a long time member of Gardendale First Baptist Church.
Patsy is preceded in death by her parents, Liller Mae Cantrell and Grattie Marshall Weaver; her husband of 50 years, David Barnhill; her husband Eddie Massey; brother, Richard Weaver; and son-in-law, Chris Goodyear.
Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Ada "Mable" Moore and Mary Sue Arrowood; daughter, Angela Goodyear; sons, David (Julianne) Barnhill and Bill (Tammy) Barnhill; her 7 grandchildren, Bryan Barnhill, Billy Barnhill, Jonathan (Rebecca) Plowman, Haley (Brad) Shirley, Keley Barnhill, Masie Barnhill, and Amanda (Jake) Hauer; as well as 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Tunnie was always on the go, affectionately named "Go Girl", constantly moving, and forever showing up for the people she loved.

A visitation will be held at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, located at 2029 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, Alabama, 35071, on February 5, 2026, starting at 10:00 am.
A Celebration of Life Service will follow at the same location, beginning at 11:00 am.
Patsy Lee Barnhill's final resting place will be at Oakwood Memorial Gardens, situated at 2100 Moncrief Road, Gardendale, Alabama, 35071.
