Born July 6, 1933, Pauline (Polly) Love Anthony was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on the 10th of July 2022. She was one special lady that will be missed greatly. She was predeceased by her parents Jewell and Ruth Smith, her two sisters Frances Brasher and Charlotte Acton and one brother Johnny Smith. She is survived by her husband Doug Anthony, her daughter Brenda Smith, stepson Scott Anthony (Sherry), her brother Basil Smith(Kay), sister-in-law and caretaker for the last 8 months Jane Smith and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her two step grandsons Hunter Anthony and Ryan Anthony and one step great grandson Pace Anthony. Polly was a member of East Gardendale Baptist Church. Visitation Wednesday July 13th at 1:00 p.m. with funeral service following at 2:00 p.m., at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, Al 35071. Graveside will follow at Forest Crest Cemetery.
