Peggy Jean (Pate) Carden, age 68 of Tuscaloosa, AL died September 23, 2021 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Peggy is proceeded in death by her parents Bennett Pate, Enza Pate Holloway, brothers Hubert, Hosmer, Lavern, and Neal, sisters Oralee and Nancy. Husband Edward Carden and special friend David Wagle.
She is survived by her children Joe (Martha) and Mike (Nicky) Cunningham, and Michelle (Chad) Leonard. Grandchildren Ashley, Lacey, Daniel, John Cunningham and Ben Gunter. Kayla Brown and Caleb Cunningham. Anna Brooke, Brittney and Drew Leonard. Great granddaughter Indie Kate Brown. Sisters Bonnie Schrimsher, Faye Wingo, and Deanna Pate. Numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
A private family viewing is 10-11am, Wednesday, Sept 29, 2021 at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel Funeral Home 2029 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, AL 35071, followed by burial at 11 am in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, adjoining the funeral home.
Pallbearers: Chad Leonard, Daniel Cunningham, Heath Simpson, Jack Green, Jason Pate, and John Cunningham.
