Phillip “Hollis” Dunning, age 57 of Gadsden, AL and formerly of Ensley passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2016. Phillip worked as a computer programmer for years. He was a wonderful son and brother who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. Phillip was preceded in death by his father, William A. Dunning, Sr. and a brother, William A. Dunning, Jr. He is survived by his mother, Cherry Dunning of Pinson and a sister, Gaye Fields (Bobby) of Kimberly; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel at 11 AM with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery.
