Pleaz Orr

Pleaz Orr was born November 21,1949 in Birmingham, AL to James Orr Sr. and Ardelia Mason Orr. He confessed Christ at a early age. He was appointed a deaconship at Pilgrim Home Baptist Church-Hooper City, AL. He served until he relocated to Warrior, AL. After moving to Warrior, he served as a deacon at New Bethlehem Baptist Church in Hayden, AL. He served there until his health started to decline.

To all that knew him, he was full of wisdom and always wanted to share something with you. If he thought you weren't gonna listen, he made sure you did. As you recall the talks, you realize it helped you more than you thought.

On March 13,2021 Pleaz answered the Lord's call for him to come home. He leaves to cherish all of his loving memories his devoted wife of over 40 years Gloria Orr, sons Sanchez Orr(Wendy) of Muscle Shoals, AL and Demario Orr(Armeleighka) of Birmingham, AL. Grandchildren Paris Orr, Bethany Orr, Jamarion Orr, Lakyn Wallace, Codie Wilson, Christian Testerman, and Landon Testerman. Sister Mary Brown and Brother Jerry Orr both of Birmingham, Al. A host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
