Rebecca "Becky" Lowman

Rebecca “Becky” Lowman, a resident of Remlap, Alabama, was born on July 25th, 1955 and passed away on October 30th, 2017 at the age of 62. Becky retired from O’Neal Steel after a career with over 30 years of service. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping and hunting. She loved her family and cherished the time she spent with them. She will be greatly missed.

Becky was preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe Jones and Vina Colvert; her first husband, James Hill; a brother, Jimbo Calloway; and a sister, Cynthia Phillips.

Becky is survived by her loving husband, Boyd Lowman; her sons, Matt Hill (Susanne) and John Hill (Jennifer); daughters, Leslie Burton (Kenneth) and Laine Mansell (Greg); brother, Paul Jones (Patrice); sister, Hilda Woodard; four grandchildren, Landon Hill, Emilee Burton, Daniel Burton, and Aiden Mansell; and a host of friends and family.

Services will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel with a visitation on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm; funeral service Thursday, November 2, 2017,at 11:00am, followed by her burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Gardendale, AL.
