Rebecca Best Williams

She was born in Warner Robbins, GA on March 31, 1958 to Nolen Eugene Best (deceased) and Ruby Nell Gray Best (deceased). Her younger brother, Stephen Best also preceded her in death.

Becky is survived by her husband, Eric (Rick) Williams. Also by two children from a precious marriage: Tonya Phillips Richey and Michael Anthony -Tony- Phillips (Lucy Borja) along with 7 grandchildren: John Eli Reeser, Breanna Lilly Phillips, William Isaiah Phillips, Jonas Matthew Contreras-Borja, Dylan Michael Dawson, Nicholas Nolen Phillips and Michael Austin Philips. She also has a half-sister, Debra Best Lovejoy (Josh) and 5 nieces and nephews, 3 cousins: Karen Massey (David), Kay Dunnam (Drew) and Kim Carden (Jack). She is also survived by her step-mother, Ramona Lyons Best.

Becky was a great servant of the Lord and showed His love to others through the many times she filled a need for someone a soon as she heard about it.

She was also a wonderful Missionary for her Church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, daily posting uplifting messages and scriptures on Facebook, and sharing her knowledge with any who asked.

Many hearts are broken and aching over this unexpected loss. The family would appreciate flowers as remembrances from friends and family. The family will receive friends during at visitation on Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 10:00 am to 10:45 am at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071, followed by a funeral service at 10:45 am. Graveside services will be private for the family.
