Reida was a loving and devoted wife to her husband of 55 years to Frank Densmore. Together they had one son, Tom Densmore (Veronica) and three granddaughters, Megan, Caitlyn, and Alma.
Reida had a deep love for the Lord and dedicated her life to serving Him. She was an active member of Glennwood Baptist Church, where she found strength and support in her faith community. She had a beautiful voice, often using her talent to praise God during church services. Her voice touched the hearts of many and left a lasting impact on those who heard her sing.
One of Reida's greatest joys in life was being a grandmother. She adored her three granddaughters and treasured every moment spent with them. She and Frank were a guiding light in their lives and gave everything they had to showing them how much they were loved.
Reida was also a woman who cherished her friendships. She had a warm and welcoming spirit, always making others feel loved and valued. She had a close circle of friends who shared in her joys and sorrows, providing unwavering support throughout her life.
Reida was preceded in death by her mother Maxine Golden, father Homer Reid Golden, and her beloved brother Homer Reid Golden, Jr. "Butch". She was deeply saddened by their passing, but found comfort in the memories they shared together. In addition to her immediate family, she is survived by her only sister, Dianne Golden Gentry.
Reida's life will be celebrated on Saturday, December 16th at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and honor her memory with a Visitation at 10:00 am and Service at 11:00 am. Though her physical presence may be gone, the impact she made on the lives of those around her will live on forever.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to Glenwood Baptist Church:
1929 Glenwood Road, Morris, AL 35116.
Reida will be greatly missed, but her legacy of love, faith, and kindness will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace, singing with the angels in heaven.
