Robert Edward Bennett, age 82 of Hayden, AL passed away on August 16, 2017. Mr. Bennett served his country proudly in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Cullman Seventh Day Adventist Church. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Cannell and a son, Robert Edward Bennett, Jr; and a sister, Peggy Leland. Mr. Bennett is survived by his wife, Olivia Bennett; adoptive son, Jose Bennett; sons, Ronnie Bennett (Rhonda), Walter Bennett (Mary Anne), and Michael Bennett (Andrea); a daughter, Michelle Cantrell (David); several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Graveside services with U.S. Military honors will be held on Wednesday, August 23rd at 10 AM in Oakwood Memorial Gardens with visitation at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel beginning at 9 AM.
