Robert L Knox

Robert Lee Knox, a resident of Morris, AL was born in Moulton, AL, on October 11, 1925 and he passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at the age of 91. He was a member of the Gardendale Church of the Nazarene and he retired from U.S. Pipe and Foundry. Robert loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed his time with his friends at the Morris Senior Citizens Center.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Dolar Knox; his wife of 65 years, Edna Ingle Knox, and a brother, Thurman Knox.

Robert is survived by his sons, Roger (June) Knox and Tony Knox; daughters, Judy (Tommy) Fallin, Betty Crowder and JoAnn (Bill) McGough; sister, Lennie Mae (Dolphus) Henderson; grandchildren; Maria, Dale, Leigh, Christy, Wayne, Jason and Phillip; great grandchildren; Kayla, Laken, Payton, Parker, Bryce, Raines, Laney Reese, Tucker, Finley, Wyatt, Brinley, and Maggie Jane; great-great grandchild; Dawson, and a host of family and friends.

Services will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Sunday, September 10, 2017 with a visitation to begin at 1:00pm; funeral service at 2:00pm followed by his burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Gardendale, AL. Services will be officiated by Bryan Knox and John Parrish. Pallbearers will be his grandsons and great grandsons.
