Rodney D Jones

Rodney was preceded in death by his father, Robert "Bob" Jones and his brother Robby Donell Jones.

Rodney is survived by his loving family, his mother, Betty Jean Jones, his daughters, Lindsey Lawson (Jeremy), Lani Dickey(Kenneth) and his son, Matthew Jones (Brittany) along with his grandchildren, Makayla and Jayden Love, Kenleigh, Kayleigh, Jaelyn and Jaxon Dickey, Ava, Kaisen, and Colt Jones; brothers, Ricky Jones (Patricia) Tony Knight; Mary Jones (ex-wife and mother to his daughters and son); several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Rodney was part owner of Jones Brothers Paving and Contracting Company. He had an undying love for his family, and enjoyed spending his time picking guitars and listening to country music. He had a love for building homes. He enjoyed spending time with all of his loving family and friends. Rodney was a loving father, brother, son and Papa and will be deeply and forever missed.

Services will be held at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel with a visitation, Sunday, November 20th, 2022 from 2 PM until 5 PM. A funeral service, Monday, November 21st, 2022 at 11:00 AM followed by his burial at Marvin's Chapel Cemetery in Pinson, AL.
