Ronnie was a resident of Smoke Rise, AL and passed away at the age of 62. He was a professional painter and owner of the Perkins Painting Company. He was an avid Harley-Davison rider and loved the outdoors. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, watching Nascar races and baseball games. He loved spending time with his daughters and granddaughters. Ronnie was preceded in death by his mother, Robbie Perkins and a nephew, Alex Hicks. He is survived by his father, Carnis Perkins; daughters, Connie Sandlin (Keith) and Jena Cramblitt (John); brother, Edward Perkins; sisters, Sue Perkins and Sonya Hicks (Ricky); grandchildren, Campbell Sandlin and Caroline Sandlin; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends on Wed., Nov. 27 from 3:00pm until 5:00pm at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel to celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations in his honor be made to the charity of your choice.
