Ruby was a loving mother "we were blessed to call her ours". She loved her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids, BUT MOST OF ALL she loved her Baby Dog, she would say, it was all she had left of our daddy. She loved flowers, working in the yard, and helping any neighbor that needed help. She was God's angel on earth. She had the biggest heart and sunniest personality, but she was also a fire cracker. If you messed with her kids, her house, her stuff, or her flowers or this little angel turned quickly.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, Lizzy Bell Thrift and Bennie Thrift; her loving husband, Roy Hardin; one son, Jeffery Hardin; one daughter, Mary J. Hardin; brothers, James Thrift, Samuel Thrift, and Bennie Thrift, Jr "Buddy".
Ruby is survived by two sons, Jimmy Hardin and his wife Vickie, and Michael Hardin and his wife Mary; one daughter, Angela Hardin Wallace and her husband, Mike; one sister, Shelby Long, nineteen grandchildren, twenty eight great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
