Ruth Smith Gregg, age 86 of Gardendale, AL passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2015. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husbands, J.T. Smith and John Gregg; and parents, Walter and Lula Cain. She is survived by her loving family, her daughters, Joan Smith, Sherian Robertson, and Tracy Rylant (Mark); grandchildren, Kim Carreker (Gary), Matthew Robertson, Jeremy Robertson (Veronica), and John Rylant (Brittany Hardin); Great grandchildren, Ashley Carreker, Julianna and Lucia Robertson; and special pets, Bingo and Blossom.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel fro 11 am until 1 pm with a graveside service beginning at 2 pm in McCormick Cemetery in Dora, AL. Pastor David Moerbe will officiate services
