Sonja Renia Davison Easterling, age 53 of Gardendale, AL was born February 16, 1963 in Birmingham, AL and passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016. Sonja was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Nell Davison; and her brother, Kenneth Davison. Sonja is survived by her husband of 28 years, Donny Easterling; daughters, Brittney Kearney (Chad) and Tyler Dickerson (Cody); a son, Fred Easterling (Jeanette); grandson, Jaxon; and granddaughters, Lucie and BB; and a sister, Michelle Sanders (Jimmy).
Chapel services will be held on Friday, September 23, 2016 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel at 3 PM with a visitation beginning one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
