Sue J. Whitehead

Sue was a faithful member of Mt.Olive Church of Christ. She was a kind, generous person who had a “green thumb”. She was lovingly called, Sweet Sue, Suzy Q, Maw Maw or mom. She peacefully went to sleep and now is in Heaven. We have peace knowing she is with our Lord and Savior.

Sue was preceded in death by her spouse, James E. Whitehead, and her parents Willie and Gladys Johnson. Survivors include daughters Sandra (Kevin) Parks and Marie (Doug) Moore; stepsons Lance (Christy) Whitehead and Jason Whitehead; grandchildren Dana (Tyler) Skipper, Luke Parks, Douglas and Danilyn Moore, Marisa (Shaun) Thomas, Kaley, Scott, Patrick and Parker Whitehead; great grandchildren Crosby and Alder Skipper.

The family will receive friends Friday, April 8 at 10 am. Funeral Service will begin afterwards at 11:30 in the chapel with graveside service afterwards. Rev Doug Moore is officiating.
