Thomas Harding Mann Jr.

Tom served in the Navy Reserve for eight years and had a long career with AT&T where he retired after 33 years of service. He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church Mount Olive for many years. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather and he loved his family dearly.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas H. Mann, Sr. and Helen L. Mann, a grandson, Matt Kinard, and a sister-in-law, Linda Hilley.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Martha Belcher Mann; three children, Steven Mann (Cindy), David Mann, and LeAnn Lucas (Jeff); seven grandchildren, Matthew Mann, Daniel Mann (Kaitlyn), Jenney McAnnally (Greg), Jessica Mann, Jacob Mann (Savannah), Noah Lucas (Kerriona), Emma Lucas; three great grandchildren, Jaron Lucas, Kennedy Mann & Abigail Mann, one nephew, Evan Hilley; several cousins and many friends.

Special thanks to the caregivers at UAB Neurology ICU and Palliative Care for the kindness and care shown to Tom and the family.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the First Baptist Church Mount Olive or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Services for Tom will be held Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel with a time of visitation from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM; the Celebration of Life Service will begin at 2:30 PM, followed by his burial at Mt. Olive Cemetery, 3201 Mt. Olive Road, Mt. Olive, Alabama 35117.
