Thomas Aljay Willett

Thomas was raised in Gadsden, Alabama and he retired from Piggly Wiggly after 35 years of service with the company. He loved the Lord and listening to gospel music, Elvis and watching Hee Haw. He was an avid Alabama football fan, loved fishing of any kind, and talking politics.

Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Mae Willett and their dog, Candy; his son, Mark Timothy Willett, a grandson, Robert Edward Powell; and three siblings.

Thomas is survived by a son, Dewayne Willett (Lisa) and a daughter, Donna Willett Snider; grandchildren, Kevin Powell (Tamara), Wayne Willett (Shelby), and Christa Guinn (Brent); great-grandchildren, Madison and Mallory Powell, Presley-Kate and Kade Powell, Cole, Peyton, Hunter, and Aubrey Willett, and Paislee Guinn.

Services for Thomas will be held at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071, on Monday, October 21, 2024 with a time of visitation beginning at 1:00 PM; Celebration of Life at 2:00 PM, followed by his burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Gardendale, Alabama.
