Vicki Renee Pitts Wright

Vicki Renee Pitts Wright was born on June 16, 1958, and passed away on February 17, 2014, following a valiant struggle with ovarian cancer. She was a graduate of Huffman High School, attended Southeastern Bible College, Jefferson State, and Samford University. She was a certified legal secretary for twenty-seven years and finished her career at Total Comfort Heating and Air. She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Pitts; her grandparents, John and Bessie Burks and Bill and Mella Pitts. She is survived by her son, Joseph Wright; her mother, Bonnie Pitts; and three brothers, Bill and Kathy Pitts, their children, Dianna and Stephanie Pitts; Larry and Jenny Pitts, their children, Emma Caitlin and John William Pitts; Eddie and Trina Pitts, their children, Justin and Chloe Pitts; special cousin, Kimberly Anderson; and family, including several aunts, uncles and cousins. She enjoyed traveling to Honduras for mission trips with her father and others from Livingston United Methodist, painting, her pets, and beach trips with the "Beach Babes," and her friends. Special thanks to UAB Women and Children's Oncology and Southern Care Hospice. A Life Celebration for Renee will be held on Thursday, February 20th at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel with visitation from 11 AM until service time at 1 PM. Interment will follow in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
