Virginia “Ginger” Slatsky Bransby, age 66, of Pleasant Grove, Alabama passed away on Thursday , September 15, 2022. Ginger was born September 1, 1956. Ginger was a wonderful mother “Gigi/GinGin” and friend who was very much loved. She loved spending time with her family, shopping, cooking and Auburn football. She was loving, kind, thoughtful and selfless. She was preceded in death by her father Mike Slatsky Jr, mother Margaret Slatsky, brother Michael Slatsky, husband Wayne Bransby, friend Freda Lacy Vaughn and many other family and friends.
She is survived by her son Jeremy Bransby, daughter Ashley Kearley (Tim) three beloved granddaughters Hali Bransby, Mackenzie Kearley and Kendall Kearley. Two brothers David Slatsky and Steven Slatsky.
A visitation for Ginger will be held Monday, September 19, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Interment will be in Bivens Chapel Cemetery in Brookside, AL. Services will be officiated by her son in law Tim Kearley.
