Arthur William "Dub" Montgomery 80, of Liberty Hill, Texas passed away on September 12, 2007 in Austin,Texas. Dub was born on a farm on February 8, 1927 in Liberty Hill to Sam Lee and Susan Anna Millard Montgomery. His stateside home was in Liberty Hill yet he worked and lived in Peru, Columbia, Thailand, Alaska, England and Malaysia. He is survived by his sister, Martha Nell Millard of North Texas and numerous Millard and Montgomery cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Bernice Boyd, Donnie Foy and Monte Garland and his sisters, Ruby Thalia, Thelda Faye and Connie Lee. Dub served in the U.S. Navy and was also a peace officer for Williamson County. A graveside service will be held at 10 AM Sunday, September 16, 2007 at Berry Creek Cemetery in Georgetown.
