Carolyn Danielle Menoskey

Carolyn Danielle Jones Menoskey, born August 19, 1975, in Fort Worth, Texas, was raised in Fort Worth where she attended White Lake Elementary School and later Nolan Catholic High School, graduating in 1993. She continued her education at Stephen F. Austin State University, earning a degree in Journalism.

Danielle’s professional journey included time with LeapFrog Schoolhouse and living in the Bay Area before eventually returning to Austin, Texas. There, she built a career in sales and marketing and was in the process of launching her own IT consulting business at the time of her passing — a reflection of her ambition, intelligence, and entrepreneurial spirit.

The greatest loves of Danielle’s life were her husband, Mike, and her daughter, Skylar. She also held a deep and unwavering love for her parents and extended family. Carolyn was known for her quick wit, playful sarcasm, and sharp sense of humor that brought laughter and light to those around her. She will be deeply missed, and her absence leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Danielle and Mike were married on August 19, 2014. Together they shared two children, one who passed at birth and their beloved daughter, Skylar, now 13. Danielle also lovingly embraced two step- daughters, Juliana (23) and Aiden (17).

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, as well as her infant daughter, Kennedy.

Danielle is survived by her devoted husband, Mike; her daughters Skylar, Aiden, and Juliana; her mother Holly and stepfather Phillip DeLeon; her father Mike and stepmother Susan Jones; her sister Allison Schickel; her nieces Mackenzie and Monya; and her nephew Evan, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

A visitation will be held at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel and Crematory, located at 393 N Interstate Hwy 35, Georgetown, TX 78628, on January 30, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The funeral service will take place at the same location on January 31, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
