

Christian Jack Peters was born in Taylor, Texas on January 24, 1925 to Anna and Christian Peters. He attended school in Thrall, Texas. He joined the Air Force in March of 1944 and was soon deployed to the Philippines. Upon his return, he moved to Pflugerville, Texas, where he met and married Naomi Klattenhoff, the love of his life. There he worked as a dairy farmer until 1972, when he moved to Georgetown where he worked as a machinist at Westinghouse. Jack will always be remembered as a gentle, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His greatest pride and joy was spending time with his family. He was very creative and enjoyed woodworking, oil painting and flint knapping. Jack is survived by his wife of over 58 years, Naomi Peters, his daughter Kathy Metzger (Michael), son, Don Peters (April), daughters, Trixie Hall(Douglas) and Jackie Fusilier (Rusty). Jack was a grandfather to thirteen grandchildren: Heather Preece (Shawn), Jerald Mott (Brooke), John Peters (Kelly), Amber Withycombe (Todd), Summer Peters, Brianna Peters, Nicholas Hall, Dustin Hall, Ashton Hall, Laura Fusilier, Valerie Fusilier, Calvin Fusilier and Beau Fusilier. Jack had seven great-grandchildren: Colton and Haven Preece, Riley and Kyleigh Mott, Danielle and Brady Peters and Carson Withycombe. Jack was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Georgetown since 1972. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials are sent to your favorite charity. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2007 from 6-8 P.M. at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel in Georgetown. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday October 25,2007 at 10:00 A.M. at Christ Lutheran Church with Pastor Paul Kersten officiating. Burial will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Georgetown.
