

Diana Jefferson Hill, 63, of Georgetown, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2014. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel, 393 North IH 35, Georgetown, TX. A service celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 11AM at Sweet Home Baptist Church at 3200 Sunrise Road, Round Rock, TX Interment will follow at Citizens Memorial Cemetery in Georgetown. Diana Jefferson Hill was born December 17, 1950 to the late XL and Willie Jefferson in Georgetown, Texas. She attended high school in Georgetown and married her high school sweetheart and late husband, Harry Hill. Diana retired from the State of Texas in February of 2014. Diana was called home to be with our Lord on Wednesday, July 16, 2014. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Vickie and Phyliss Earl and one brother, Walter Lee Jefferson. Diana was a loving Christian mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and a very good friend to many. She leaves to cherish her memories two children: son, Prentiss Hill and daughter, Danielle Hill of Georgetown, Texas; six grandchildren: Chauncey, Dominick, Adonis, Daquan, Lacretia and Tiara, and four great grandchildren: Jayda, Jeremiah, Amiya, and Julian. She also leaves to mourn ten brothers: Alfred Fisher, Cornelious Thomas, Jeffrey Don Jefferson of Georgetown, Texas, Lyndon Jefferson and Wilbert Jefferson of Round Rock, Texas, XL Jefferson, Jr. of Georgetown, Texas, Chris Earl of Pflugerville, Texas, James Earl, Elmer Earl and Berry Earl of Round Rock, Texas. In addition to her brothers, she leaves to mourn six sisters: Charlotte Jefferson Zamora of Hutto, Texas, Ella Louise Sutton of Killeen, Texas, Stella Hall of Galveston, Texas, Helen Marie Douglas of Galveston, Texas, Ellinor Gaddison of Killeen, Texas, and Lisa Earl of Round Rock, Texas. She also leaves to mourn a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Diana touched everyone she encountered with love, laughter and a positive word from her heart. Although she was not the oldest family member, she was the family member that all looked up to and went to for love, understanding and a listening ear. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
