Grace Mildred Hill

Grace Lackey Hill, 92, of Georgetown passed away peacefully on February 21, 2014. Grace was born to the late Electa Keener and John Oscar Lackey on August 28, 1921 in Sour Lake, Texas. Grace grew up in Georgetown with her four brothers and one sister. She graduated from GHS in 1939. Grace is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Judge Bill Hill. Grace was a charter member of Main Street Baptist Church and worked for many years at the Georgetown M & S Clinic. Grace is survived by her children, Gerald Hill and wife Judy and Mildred Hill Davis and husband Glen, all of Georgetown and was known lovingly as "Nana" to her four grandchildren, Scott Hill and wife Roxie, Koy Killen and wife Shadie, Kristie Killen Johnson and husband Ben and Laura Hill Blom and husband Aaron; along with five great-grandchildren, Alex, Grissom, Davis, Heston and Cash. Memorial donations Grace's memory are requested be made to the Main Street Baptist Church. Graveside services will be held on at 2:00PM, Saturday, March 1, 2014 at The Odd Fellows Cemetery (IOOF) in Georgetown with a reception following at Main Street Baptist Church.
