Jose Norberto Agnelo Noronha

Jose Norberto Noronha of Georgetown, TX, age 76, died on Monday, November 26, 2018 in Houston, TX.  He was born on June 6, 1942 in Navelim, Goa, India, son of late Sebastiao Noronha and late Efigenia Noronha nee Marchon.

Jose completed his Bachelor’s of Commerce in Belgaum, India.  In the USA he worked as a Manager at a local organic whole food market in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  He was a member of the India Catholic Association in Michigan and ICA of Central Texas.  First and foremost in Jose’s life was his dedication to our Lord Jesus Christ and our Blessed Mother Mary. He used to attend daily Rosary and Mass.  He loved socializing with people.  His happy personality, humor, and caring nature will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

One of his favorite hobbies was traveling the world and enjoying the food, drinks and people from every place he visited.

Jose married Jane D’Souza on May 12, 1973.  He is also survived by his children Joel (Natasha Pereira), Jason and Janice and grandchildren, Sebastian and Veronica.

He is the brother of Herminia (Alvito Andrade); late Amelia, late Augustine (Lira); late Salvador (Celine); Connie (Francis Saldanha); Philu (late Honorio Cabral), Carma and late Aurea.  He was a beloved uncle to all his nephews and nieces.
