

Pastor Charles N. White, 73 of Georgetown, entered into Heavenly rest on September 21, 2011 surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 8, 1938 to J.R. and Inabell (Payne) White in Whitesboro. He attended Tennessee Temple Baptist College. Charles married Charlotte Ruth Cearley on September 6, 1958 in Gainesville. Charles served in the National Guard. He served his Lord by starting and pastoring churches in Pilot Point, Beeville, Bible Baptist in Georgetown, Church of Chandler Creek in Round Rock and others. Being a sinner saved by Grace, he found it most important to minister to homeless and less fortunate persons throughout his ministry. Charles is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Donald R. White; and a daughter, Tplea Annette White. Charles leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife, Charlotte of Georgetown; children, Jay and wife Marcelina of Georgetown, Charles White, Jr. of Georgetown, Stephanie and husband David Phillips of Mobile, AL, and Synmantha White of Georgetown; a brother, Jimmy R. White of Little Elm; fourteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm on Saturday, September 24, 2011 in the Gabriels Funeral Chapel & Crematory in Georgetown. A service to celebrate his life and salvation will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, September 25, 2011 in Grace Fellowship Church, 6600 Lakewoods Dr. South in Georgetown. Interment will follow in Corn Hill Cemetery. Honoring his memory as pallbearers will be: Matthew Scott White, Keith Daniel White, Matthew Sparks, Kevin Wade Webster, Emmanuel Alvarez, and Andres Alvarez.
