

Robert Willis Patience, 88, of Georgetown entered into rest at his home surrounded by family on April 24, 2010. He will be remembered at a Memorial Masonic service on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at 1:00 pm in IOOF Cemetery in Georgetown. Robert was born January 16, 1922 to Robert and Carrie (Vincent) Patience in Murray, Utah, near Salt Lake City. He graduated from Midvale High School and then joined that “greatest generation” of men who went off to fight in World War II. Following the war Robert worked selling and distributing hardware and housewares wholesale. He married Anne Vinther on September 3, 1965 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Robert was a member of Audubon Park Lodge #272 F&AM in Spokane, Washington. Robert is survived by his wife, Anne V. of Georgetown; sons, Bill Patience of Georgetown, Rick Patience of Layton, UT.; daughters, Judy Patience of Meridian, ID, Pat Nichols of Georgetown, and Bobette Child of Kaysville, UT.; sisters, Carolyn Dangerfield of Midvale, UT. and Elaine Buckley of Denver, CO.; many grand and great-grandchildren.
