Suki is survived by: daughter and son-in-law Janet & Casey Tuohy; grandson Reid Shultz; son Jason Femino; godson John Garber; as well as sisters and brothers-in-law Janet & Bob Benedetti, Mimi & Jimmy Mandile, Brenda & Mike Fraser, & Kathy Hastings... and the wonderful nieces and nephews they've given Suki, each of whom brought her joy.
Suki is preceded by: her husband Peter G. Femino, Jr.; her parents Kim, Chil Mook & Kim (née Lee), Sam Sung; her parents-in-law Peter G. Femino, Sr. & Mildred Femino; and her brother-in-law Gary Hastings.
Born in July 1941, in Chungchongpuk-do, South Korea to father Chil Mook and mother Sam Sung. Suki lived a rural life, until moving out of the countryside as a young adult. It was in Korea that she met her future husband, the handsome Army Captain Peter G. Femino, Jr.. They married in 1967, started a family, and moved to The States. In 1970, Suki & Pete settled in Dedham, MA, their home for more than 40 years, where they raised their two children. There, Suki was a homemaker, and active member of the Korean Catholic community. In 2013, the retired Suki & Pete moved to Georgetown, TX, to be near their daughter Janet, son-in-law Casey, and grandson Reid. It was here where Suki's husband, Pete, passed in 2019 at the age of 76.
Suki was known to her family as a dedicated homemaker; a wonderful cook of Korean and Italian cuisine; and a cheerful/loving/dutiful daughter/sister/aunt. She was known to her friends as a generous host and loyal friend. She was known by her neighbors as a hard-working gardener, and responsible community member.
Suki will be cremated, and her funeral service will be held at 11am on Saturday, May 31st, 2025 at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, Texas 78628, followed by a reception from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family requests that guests make donations, in Suki's name, to the charity of their choice. Some suggestions include:
