Victoria Ochoa

Victoria Ochoa, 76, of Georgetown, passed away on January 12, 2014. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2014 from 6pm to 8pm at the Gabriels Funeral Chapel, 393 North IH-35, Georgetown, Texas, with a Rosary being recited at 7pm. A service celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2014, 10am at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel. Honoring Ms. Ochoa as pallbearers will be: Angelo Ochoa, Christopher Valdez, Isidro Ochoa Jr., Arthur Ochoa Jr., Joshua Martinez, John Ochoa III, Matthew Ochoa, Mark Ochoa, and Vinnie Ochoa. Victoria was born on March 10, 1938, in Floresville, Texas to the late Rosendo and Maria Puente. She was the youngest of eight siblings. Victoria loved Bingo and played as often as she could. She was considered by her family the best cook around and enjoyed listening to Christian music. She enjoyed her children and grandchildren's visits. Victoria is preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Guadalupe Ochoa Martinez and grandsons Jonah and Miguel. She leaves behind to cherish her memory: her children: Rosa Ochoa, John Ochoa, Jr. and wife Elva, Arthur Ochoa, Sr. and wife Ida, Leroy Ochoa and wife Melissa, Marcelo Ochoa, Isidro Ochoa, Elma Ariza and husband Vincent,; 21 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and numerous other loving family and friends; two sisters, Patricia Flores and Olivia Campos.
