Peace be with my Madrina. 

In life , sometimes  we are fortunate to have the love and support of a mother and father. 

If you are really lucky like I was,  you have the love and support of your second set of parents, the Godmother and father.  

My madrina Alicia and Padrino Alfredo had a way of making you feel loved. I felt loved by them every time we saw each other. 

Strong women are a staple in my life and I’m so very thankful and blessed to have had my Madrina Alicia in my life. My love for reading and art were nurtured by her and my god father. 

Today, with a heavy heart  we say goodbye to my Madrina’s body  and celebrate her life with soul with everyone who will miss her.
