My dearest Connie Chung.  I am still in disbelief that you are no longer here with us anymore. You will be sorely missed.  I appreciated all the moments you went above and beyond  of being more than just a sister and also being a second parent to our kids.  Connie I will always love sister of mine. I love and miss you so much. I still can’t believe you aren’t physically here with us. I will be forever grateful for you and everything you did for me. I’ll never forget our Disneyland trips, HomeGoods runs, coffee runs, sleepovers and just dance battles. I always looked forward to summer vacations because I knew we were going to Auntie Connie’s house. Thank you for helping raise and take care of us, your kindergarten. To my Auntie Connie. No amount of words can describe how heartbroken I am that you aren’t here with us physically anymore. What brings me a little comfort is knowing you’re still here with us spiritually and you’ll continue to take part in all of our milestones! Auntie Connie was always such a fun person to be around. Always cracking jokes or doing some silly faces. I still cant believe you are gone! I will always remember our adventures whether it be to Disneyland or dodger games. I love you so much and miss you!

My Auntie Connie was a ray of sunshine. Always with a smile on her face, cracking jokes, and being the biggest goofball. Growing up, I always look forward to family dinner and going to auntie connie’s house cause you always knew it was always going to be a fun time and she would make you laugh, being around her was a blessing. I am eternally grateful for the endless sleepover, just dance battles, swimming days, disneyland visits , shopping trips, and every second I got to spend with her!

Little did I know this would be our last picture together. We are at my solo Art exhibit.  Pics like this were the norm whenever we were together. Your dimples, smile, and laugh is what I will always remember and carry with me. We greeted each other with love every time and in the process the nicknames came….from nerd, chili con Connie, and my fave Connie Chung.  It was her fave too because it stuck with her all this time. This is how I will always remember my dear friend Connie. Always the joy and laughter in the room, we joked, laughed and danced a lot. Kind, loving and always there. I had the privilege of meeting her and Beatriz when we were teenagers and worked together at JC Penneys. Ever since then, it has been a life long friendship of 30+ years.
