Cora Ann Button

Cora Ann Button passed away after a brief illness on June 2nd 2025. She was born on February 21st 1938 in Los Angeles, California. She was the beloved only child of James and Dortha Oldham. She grew up in San Dimas and graduated from Bonita High School in 1956. A year later, in 1957, she married the love of her life, Jerry Button. They shared 67 beautiful years of marriage together.

As a child, Cora Ann cherished time with her family, especially her visits to Sacramento to stay with her aunt and uncle. These were memories she carried fondly throughout her life.

She worked for 15 years in the food service department at Bonita Unified School District and retired in 2000. Cora Ann was an avid reader and found great joy in attending church each week with her son Mike.

But above all else, her greatest passion was her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and her warmth and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband Jerry, her three sons Jim, Steve, and Mike, her five granddaughters Britni, Jeana, Julee, Chelsea, and Lauren, and her four great-grandchildren.

Funeral and interment services will be private.
