David leaves behind many who love and adore him; as he was the pillar of strength. Shortly after moving to California David fell in love and married Minerva. Their love grew over 55 years of marriage, she was and always will be the love of his life. They were two peas in a pod and raised their children with a strong sense of family; all while allowing them to pursue their own dreams. He loved nothing more than watching them become successful and in turn, raise their own families. David’s children were the light of his life and what brought out his infectious smile
While raising his family, David was a dedicated employee and never let one moment pass him by without taking time to enjoy the things that made him most happy, spending time with family, dancing and golf. Taking family trips to the Grand Canyon, Big Bear Mountain and camping all while including anyone interested in joining in on the fun. He and his daughter Shirley were known for wowing others with their rhythm on the dance floor, when dancing the jitterbug. When not spending time with family at home, you could find David on the golf course with Ernie, Ed and anyone else up for a round of golf; his second love.
David will be lovingly remembered by his wife Minerva Quinones, sons Edgar Quinones and wife Patricia, Ernie Quinones and fiancé Tina Bettuelli, daughter Shirley Quinones; six grandchildren, Elisa Quinones, Maribella Martinez, David Quinones, Donovan Quinones, Isaac Quinones. Previously departed grandson John Quinones was waiting to show him the way home.
