

Ethel Lois Hulihan was born in 1930 in Highland Park, Los Angeles, California. She married Eugene William Sinclair in 1953 in the Idaho Falls Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She lived a long and happy life, passing on September 7, 2020.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Patrick Joseph Hulihan and Ethel Mae Howells, her siblings Bernice and Dorothy, and her husband Eugene.
Lois graduated from Brigham Young University with an Education Degree then moved to California and earned her California teaching credentials. Most of her teaching career was spent at Valleydale Elementary in Azusa California, most often teaching mainly Fifth Grade. During this time she earned a Masters’ Degree in Education from Redlands University.
Lois was an active member of the Church of Jesus of Latter-Day Saints, and served in many positions. Lois loved her family and was always happy to have them around her. She always did what she could to help them out.
She loved holidays, especially Christmas. St. Patrick’s Day was particularly meaningful to her because of her Irish heritage.
Lois is survived by her brother John Robert Hulihan; daughter Karen and son–in-law Gary Anderson; daughter Paula Kemp, her daughter’s family Leana and Josh Gray, their children Rose, Jean-Luc, Julian, James Vincent and Orion, Paula’s son Paul Kemp; and son Kenneth Sinclair and his daughter Jessica and her daughter Addison, his son Tyler, daughter Jenna, and son Trevor.
A graveside service will be held at the Oakdale Memorial Park (1401 South Grand Ave., Glendora, CA) on October 1,, 2020 at 1:00 PM. If you wish to make a donation in Lois’ honor, her favorite charities include the Glendora Public Library, the March of Dimes, the American Cancer Society, and the Humanitarian Aid fund of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
