Francis W. "Frank" Grimes

March 24, 1930- February 20, 2012

Born in Weehawken, NJ to Margaret E. and Francis P. Grimes, lived nearly his entire life in southern California. He worked most of his life as an auto mechanic and as Parts and Service Manager of various Ford dealerships in the Los Angeles, Orange County and San Gabriel/ Chino Valley areas. Resident of Chino, CA for 47 years. After retirement, he and his wife Dorothy traveled extensively by air, cruise ship, train and bus almost literally touching the four corners of the world. He was married for 50 years to the love of his life, Dorothy, who predeceased him in July 2002. Survived by sons Bob (Ingrid) of Bloomfield Hills, MI and Jim (Wayne S. King, Jr.) of Azusa, CA, brother, Tom, and numerous nieces and nephews. Services at Oakdale Memorial Park, 1401 S. Grand Ave, Glendora, CA 91740. Visitation Tuesday, 02/28/12, 5:30 pm-8:00pm.
