How awesome and wonderful is our God? That He would create such a vibrant, loving, caring, nurturing and beautiful person as Gertrude Lucinda Hotchkiss Teel!  That He would bless each of us so abundantly with the opportunity to experience the joy that He gifted her with the ability to share! Praise endlessly to our Father for the blessing that His daughter was for each of us! Trudy was given the unique talent of being able to make every person she talked to feel not only truly special and important but also every conversation was of the utmost significance and value! No problem was too small and no subject was unconfrontable. She handled each and every one with a God given grace and honesty and insight. She was a counselor, a mediator, and a best friend. She was humble and honest and not afraid to admit her imperfections. But most of all she was God fearing and loved Jesus with all her heart and wasn't afraid to say that she relied upon Him and clung to Him in every moment.
And even though she is no longer with us here in this broken place, she is not forgotten and our Father's love and wisdom, sense of humor, fun and laughter that He so graciously shared through her touch will linger with every one of us until we too are called home. For our Father lovingly created His willing, sincere and trustworthy servant and bestowed upon her the courage and heart to touch and forever change each of us in ways we may not even realize for years to come.
I can see her now; running to the arms of her beloved Savior at last. She so often spoke of this with me and it is of immense joy to me that finally she is able to experience this that she so longed for. 
We often talked of wordly things and she would say.Well I don't know but someday I will. The Lord says that we will know all things when we get to heaven and truly a smile crosses my face as I think that all the things she wanted to know she now knows and if I am honest I will admit I am a bit envious.
The Lord creates so many beautiful flowers in His garden. Each one exquisite and each one rare and beautiful and each one unique but still all in His image. Trudy was one of the loveliest of all and truly her fragrance will linger with all of us in the years to come. 
The Lord used her in so many ways to inspire and teach and remind and touch with His words and His love for us and to remind us that He understands. It is hard to imagine life without her. 
Thank you Lord for giving us this time with her and the wonderful memories to cherish and keep with us and comfort us until we come to You and are able to be in Your unimaginably glorious presence and also see our precious Trudy again. May You use her passing for Your Glory in all things and bless every individual that she had contact with and help them to remember how You used Your beloved Trudy to touch them and bring them closer to You. Praise You Lord and thank You.  In Jesus' precious precious name. Amen

And in closing.... in the words of Trudy,  Thank you Lord! (Smile) Right?

I love you Grandma Trudy, I have a lot of memories I will always cherish with you. Thank you for watching cartoons with me, for teaching me to sew, and for giving me the courage to make art. I will always have art, I'll always share my art, and therefore a bit of you will always be with me and everyone who enjoys what I make.

We've lost a powerful prayer warrior and a beautiful woman. For myself,  I'm so very sad and selfishly wishing she was still here, but I known that she is resting in the arms of the Savior and reaping the rewards in heaven she so richly deserves. .. and for that, I'm very happy.

We celebrate our Mom,Grandma and friend

Trudy Teel, some knew her as Mom Teel.

As of Jan. 24th 2018 she moved from this earth to be with the Lord Jesus Christ in heaven. We will miss her so much, for she was full of life, she loved everyone she came incontact with. Her heart, her arms and her home were always open to anyone who would come. Above all else she loved Jesus Christ with heart ,body and soul and wanted others to know Him as well.

We who stay behind are her children Mike Teel, Marty Teel, Trish Elliott& husband Ed,

Randy Teel, and Kelly Teel. She has 12 Grand children , 22 great grand children, 2 siblings out of 8 children Betty Mattews and family , Richard Hotchkiss and family have stayed behind as well. Plus many other family and friends.



My wonderful Aunt Trudy, you brought so many smiles to so many faces! You will be so missed and loved! 

You will be missed.  You were always so kind to me. I am grateful we got to spend some time with you last summer.
