Jess “David” Robles was given this vessel February 6, 1946 in Los Angeles, CA.
Youngest of 5 siblings to parents Juanita and Jess Robles.
David passed peacefully in his home of Glendora, CA.
Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Uncle, Brother, Friend.
Raised and lived his life in Southern CA. David met his best friend, Rachael Martinez at Sierra Car Wash in 1961 at the age of 16. They went on to enjoy 59 years of marriage. David and Rachael were blessed with 2 daughters, Rosanne and Arlene, and followed by a set of twin boys, Jess and Joseph.
A man of music, David performed and jammed throughout The Valley in numerous bands. An expertise in guitar and percussion, David’s passion for singing was of his best artistic ability.
The man enjoyed all forms of art, including thought-provoking literature and cinema.
A distinguished, honest and proud carpenter by trade.
David had an infectious laugh and never missed the opportunity to tell a punny joke.
He was a great listener, who valued the good seen in others.
Above all else, David was incredibly overjoyed with his 6 grandchildren and all their accomplishments. And he was eager to see all the greatness in the greats.
David could be found jogging around town, whistling while working in Rachael’s garden, charcoal BBQing, watching a Rams/Dodgers game, or sitting in his chair, laughing the night away with Baby.
David’s life was full in spirit, and he lived it on his terms.
He had a strong relationship with The Man Upstairs, and found life lessons in all of His nature.
We loved him and he will be forever missed.
The family would like to deeply thank all those who have made David’s life amazing and fulfilled throughout his years.
