Mr. Manuel Robert Cruz

Mr. Manuel Robert Cruz, born on February 4, 1974, in Bellflower, California, passed away on February 12, 2026, at the age of 52. He was a resident of El Monte , California. Manuel was a dedicated school administrator for the ABC Unified School District who truly enjoyed working with students and making a difference. He was known for his kindness and the care he showed to those around him. Earlier in his career, he worked as a teacher and coach for the El Rancho Unified School District, where he formed many lasting connections with students and colleagues. Outside of work, Manuel enjoyed hunting, classic cars, and loved spending summers in Colorado. Manuel especially enjoyed the moments he spent with his children, family and friends. Manuel is survived by his two children, Mikaela Cruz and Ayden Cruz; his parents, Rita Cruz and Robert Cruz; and his siblings, Nadine Villa, Matthew Cruz, Natalie Christensen, Carissa Carranza, Isaac Cruz and Melissa Cruz. He was deeply loved by his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Service Information:

The Viewing will be held on Monday, April 6, 2026 Starting at 4:30-5:30pm, at Nativity Church- 3743 Tyler Ave. El Monte, CA 91731. The Rosary will follow at 5:30pm

Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Nativity Church- 3743 Tyler Ave. El Monte, CA 91731.

Burial will follow at Oakdale Mortuary and Memorial Park- 1401 S. Grand, Glendora, CA 91740.

A reception and celebration of life will be held afterward at the Masonic Lodge- 4017 Tyler Ave, El monte, CA 91731.
